Deep Well Dewatering Pump Rental in Dubai

Lower a high water table for deep excavations, basements and shafts — borehole deep well and wellpoint dewatering systems built for the saline UAE groundwater of Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman.

Groundwater lowering

What deep well dewatering does — and why Dubai needs it.

Across much of Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman the natural groundwater table sits only a metre or two below the surface. The moment an excavation cuts below that level, water floods in, the sides slump, and work stops. Deep well dewatering solves this by drawing the water table down before you dig deep — a ring of bored wells around the excavation, each holding a submersible borehole pump that pumps continuously so the dig stays dry, firm and safe.

Unlike a single sump pump dropped into a hole, a deep well system controls the water across the whole site. That keeps the formation stable, prevents the "boiling" and piping that undermines foundations, and lets you pour and waterproof on dry ground. It is the standard method for basements, deep pile caps, pumping stations, tunnels and lift-shaft pits in the Emirates' high water table.

Deep well vs wellpoint

Two ways to lower the water — which one you need.

01

Wellpoint Dewatering

Closely-spaced shallow points connected to a header pipe and a single jetting pump. Best for sandy ground and drawdown up to about 5–6 m — fast to install around trenches, pipelines and shallow basements.

02

Deep Well Dewatering

Individually bored wells, each with its own submersible pump. Lowers water beyond 6 m, copes with deeper and layered ground, and runs for the long durations a basement or shaft needs.

03

Borehole & Groundwater Lowering

For deep pile caps, pumping stations and tunnels, a deep well ring gives the controlled, site-wide drawdown that single pumps cannot — the formation stays dry and stable throughout.

Sizing guide (metric)

Indicative deep well system specs.

All performance figures in metric. Final design depends on excavation depth, area, soil permeability and target drawdown — send us the dig details and we will size it.

SystemTypical well depthDrawdownFlow per pumpPower
Single-stage wellpoint4–7 mup to 5–6 m40–60 m³/h (header)5.5–7.5 kW jet
Deep well — light12–18 m6–10 m10–25 m³/h2.2–4 kW
Deep well — standard18–30 m10–18 m25–45 m³/h5.5–9 kW
Deep well — high lift30–40 m18–30 m+30–60 m³/h11–15 kW

A working system is a set of wells, not one pump — spacing is typically 5–12 m apart around the excavation, sized so their overlapping cones of depression lower the whole area. We also supply header pipe, discharge hose and standby units so a single failure never floods the dig.

Where it's used

Deep excavations we keep dry.

🏗️

Basements & Substructures

Multi-level basements and raft foundations dewatered for the full pour-and-waterproof programme, not just a single day.

🕳️

Shafts & Pumping Stations

Deep circular shafts, sewage and storm pumping stations sunk below the water table with controlled drawdown.

🧱

Pile Caps & Trenches

Deep pile caps, utility trenches and pipelines kept dry so reinforcement and bedding go in on firm ground.

🌊

Saline Water Table

Stainless impellers and corrosion-resistant ends made for the brackish groundwater that destroys ordinary pumps in the UAE.

Rental terms

How deep well rental works with us.

1

Send the dig details

Excavation depth, plan area and ground type. We estimate the drawdown and number of wells needed.

2

We size the system

Pump duty, well spacing, header and standby — specified in metric and quoted with delivery across Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman.

3

Install & run

Pumps installed in the bored wells, header connected, drawdown established before you dig deep. Daily, weekly and monthly terms.

4

Monitor & demobilise

Standby units cover failures; we keep the water down for the whole programme and recover the gear when you are done.

FAQ

Deep well dewatering questions.

It lowers the groundwater table by pumping from a ring of bored wells around an excavation. Each well holds a submersible borehole pump that draws the water down so the dig stays dry and stable below the natural water level.

Wellpoints suit shallow drawdown to about 5–6 m in sandy ground. Choose deep well when you need to lower water more than 6 m, in deeper or layered ground, or for long-duration basement and shaft excavations.

Our borehole pumps work in wells of roughly 15–40 m and can draw the table down well beyond a single-stage wellpoint — the exact drawdown is designed around your excavation and soil permeability.

Yes. Every unit uses stainless impellers and corrosion-resistant components specified for the brackish, saline water table common across Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.

We rent the pumps and supply header pipe, discharge hose and standby units, and advise on well spacing. Send the excavation depth and area and we will size and quote the system.
